Ingredients:
3/4 cup golden brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 cup butter, or margarine
1 egg
1 1/4 cup flour, all-purpose
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 oz chocolate pieces
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions:
1. Cream together sugar and butter.
2. Beat in egg.
3. Stir in dry ingredients; add vanilla and mix.
4. Fold in chocolate and nuts.
5. Spread in greased 15×10 inch pan (this will be a thin layer of batter).
6. Bake in 375 degree oven 12 to 15 minutes.
7. Cool slightly before cutting into 48 squares.
